DH made us dinner last night and breakfast this morning. Guess what's waiting for me in the kitchen...yeah, dishes

I'm experimenting. Remember when there was extra pie crust and your mom let you sprinkle it with cinnamon and sugar and bake? I loved doing that and sometimes we'd make pinwheel cookies with brown sugar and butter just for those alone.

I'm trying the pinwheels with a sticky bun mix in the bottom of the pan. We shall see, I'm a bit concerned about the sweet factor. They smell good though.

No, best not. He might decide he likes it and then I wouldn't have the time or energy to do the dishes.

Last night was a bit of a grab bag since the weather was so lousy grocery shopping didn't happen. So we had homemade mac & cheese with shrimp cocktail chasers

This morning we had bagels (with some tasty kalamata olive/feta cheese spread), ham & eggs.
