I had nachos. Certainly not photo-worthy...the chips were the broken bits from the bottom of the bag and I kind of burned them in the toaster oven.

I'm making a less fancy rendition of Ron's scalloped potatoes. Typical of me just glancing at the recipe & not really paying attention, I've grossly underestimated how long these suckers need to bake. I better go make some popcorn to hold us over.

It does take a long time!

I bet you could speed it up in a pressure cooker--Instant pot!

I have to work so I told igor it's his turn to plan, shop, prep and cook today. I also mentioned that toasted and nuked cheese sandwiches are NOT acceptable.

It's supposed to be a beautiful day outside today and he knows how to bbq. I'd bet my mext paycheck he buys something to put in the oven like crappy fried something and fries or tots. If he does that I'm going to beat him with the broom.
