SHOW OFF YOUR YUM! Food Photography Thread

I have been a bit on the lazy side when it comes to meals these past few days.
Got a little more done in the food dept tonight.
Dinner was mini slider burgers (from frozen premade patties), sugar snap peas, and oven potatoes.
Dessert (deserving of multiple pics :drool) was chocolate lava cake with cool whip. Sadly I thought of it last minute, so the only topping we had was cool whip.

These packages suck....View attachment 1262791 .....The air right out and seal in all original juices & flavor. Making reheating easy.
:oldJust bring a large pot of water to hard boil, turn off the burner, place said food saver suck pack in said hot water, place lid on pot and supper is almost ready. No overheating leftover tenderloin. No drying it out and you are reheating it w/o reconstitution.. all original juices.

Had a package of soft shells from the previous night.
Gotta use them or loose them..

BBQ sauce drenched breaded chicken tenders in a soft wrap..

A very successful throw something together night.View attachment 1261796
Good idea, I love to throw stuff together too!

DW and My dinner venture. She made the meatballs, and I mashed the potatoes (butter and sour cream in them of course). :gig And made the brown gravy. Also took out the grass from the fridge as well as the dressing.

Yes, those funny extruded looking things are mashed potatoes. I use the potato masher to transfer from pot to plate. It allows more surface area for the GRRRRRRAVY to coat. VS a ball, or mound. Kind of look like Cheeto's, only white. 3 meatballs were enough for a single serving. The grass is Fresh Express topped with some Ranch dressing.

For dessert, got a jump on Fat Tuesday Pastry. :drool Along with some Espresso to wash it down. (It's just regular coffee BTW.:gigbut note my cup) :thumbsup Lone surviver from my set.:( The gentle ear on these just did not want to hang around in the sink. I have other cups that are :old and still going strong.
Love me some espresso! :caf Did you make the pastry?
I use a potato masher, too. But, usually I am mashing other things with it. Lol
