It's one of my favorites for sure. We can have it tomorrow, no kids.

Have you done any quail egg eating or are you hatching them all?

I collected them over a bit more than a week. I have 37 eggs in the brinsea that I set yesterday. I took a picture when there was 36 and added one more that I collected before bed.

Future yum!

My youngest DD loves the quail eggs and says they taste much better than chicken eggs.

I have made several things with them. Next time I will get a picture

I really like the quail eggs too. Especially in place of hard boiled. We're going to try bacon and quail egg salad sandwiches this weekend.

I did hard boil 21 of them. They are very tasty!

2 minutes on steam setting in the instant pot and then quick release. Into ice water until cool and then peel.

Wonderful!

Agreed! Unfortunately I'm done with quail after I grow out the babies I have now. I'm allergic to birds in general and the quail are particularly hard to handle. Fun birds though.

Not because I want to. Hives, congestion and feeling horrible is forcing me to do it.

Also, time. The puppies need attention and training. My grandkids are about to NOT live with me literally 50% of the time after ten years. For the first time since I met my husband almost 30 years ago, we're about to be free

So, yea. I passed it on, but my dna wasn't altered and I'm no longer a carrier

So this is the other night with the Salisbury steak and tonight sausage gravy tator tots I can make the best gravy
