SHOW OFF YOUR YUM! Food Photography Thread

I can’t make chili until I get my garden to produce more than the three tomatoes I got last year. I can’t remember, but I think it rained too much last summer.
I have a 4 oz jar of chili I’m hoarding in the cabinet. I’m so afraid to use it.
You need poop! Pig poop, Goat poop..
We feed the pigs Tomatoes. They poop out the seeds. The seeds germinate and thick stalk seedlings grow along the pen fences. We dig them up and put them in pots with garden soil and goat poo.
THEN THE HORN WORMS ATTACK:barnie

 I didn’t know about the Roma tomatoes until it was too late. You see, there was a run that I wasn’t using. The weeds and grass were pretty bad. I was attacking the area with my hands, lawn tractor and weed whacker. I didn’t see the tomatoes I’d pulled out vine and all until the chickens came running, and I saw round things rolling in the mowed grass. They were happy birds!

I mean that is all my garden produced. Not a single pepper, onion, strawberry...
We have clay soil.. bad. Our onions we grow are in pots. Tons of sandy soil we bring in. Same w/taters.. they like loose soil too. Peppers grow like weeds here.
Strawberry plant killer I am...:hit

Got my bread baked...

DH's favorite kind :D

Or you could just come here! Of course, you'll have to get to it before DH does. He loves that bread recipe and will eat most all of it by himself.

OH YUM!!! :bowThat looks so beautiful!!! :love I'd eat it all too! :drool

Thank you!!
I actually like my own chili. My mother didn’t know about peppers, and never knew we all liked spicy food (she kept food plain trying to appease her seven children). My husband added stale beer and God knows what else!

@Wickedchicken6 said she pours a healthy dose of vinegar in hers. It sounded totally bizarre, but I tried it in my last batch... Best dang chili I ever made!!! :ya
