A long time ago I heard (read?) a story about NJ folks not being very happy with NY putting the Lady Liberty on their license plates. Made people assume she was located in NY.

We finally donated the plate that like after we got all of our new ones

I the corelle dishes. We use them on a daily basis, and they just don't wear out. Microwave safe, so it is a plus. They all stack together like from same family, and are thin, many stack and not very high. (compared to my other stoneware, and china dishes)
We have at least 5 different patterns. Over the years we added and the patterns changed. Have more than one set of the Butterfly Gold pattern, so that is why it comes up so often in my pix
Every now and again, a dish decides to take a kamikaze dive to the floor.
no problem,,,,,,, plenty more to take its place on the table

I know EXACTLY why you asked that,,,,, You have roots there.
My personal views,,,,,,,
The peeps in New Jersey should revolt,,,,, and redraw the state line like I show on map.

Or possibly give both New Jersey, and New York City, to Pennsylvania.
Delaware, I would definitely give to Maryland.
Closer to my home I want these changes.
The Hard working Dairy-workers of Wisconsin should unite, and invade to the north, and conquer what I circled in blue.

I’ve always known it as the tri-state area. Pennsylvania is an embarrassment though. It’s as bad as West Virginia! I thought Ohio was a mentally incompetent state until I spent time actually living in Pennsylvania. Don’t get me wrong, each state has its embarrassments (like where the rest of you live! ), but I never did meet anyone intelligent there.
I prefer Texas or Utah. Maybe I’ll go back to Boston someday.
