Inconjuntion with my obligation to choose a single photograph from this thread weekly- one that stands out to me and grabs a hold of my attention.
@MrsMistyReal posts a lot of pixs of other photographer's foods-which is perfectly fine! But I knew she had it in her! She wow-ed me with a comfort meal which inspired me to throw stew into our rotation. So Mrs Real earned this week's POW.
When I first stumbled upon it I had to zoom in on it out of curiosity of ingredients. It made my mouth water. I would gladly except a dinner invitation for this dish.

Belated Yum-

prior to us all contracting the plague, we had a turkey thawing.. It went into the oven instead of the smoker.
We have been picking on it like termites on a dead tree branch since.. Nothing like a nice Turkey carcass to wet your whistle right?

Was too low spirited to do a before picture.. bummer.

During the mists of the aftermath of illness, DD had her 22nd Birthday. Homemade cake-icing-decorating by em-wah-

To help celebrate her Birthday, her water pump went out on her car.. SURPRISE!!!!


So in effort to get that dead massive turkey out of my icebox, After numerous turkey sandwiches, presenting "Turkey Alfredo". Another turkey left over.. wonderful. It was a big bird.

One last thing before I get out of here, cavedude hasn't posted since Thursday..

Although cavedude has clicked likes..

So theoretically speaking, if said @cavemanrich has trained a tree to hold his coffee, could said tree be trained to push said "like button"?

I think I have found a way to take out cavedude's evil coffee holding- like button clicking tree to get him back and being more self sufficient...

Anybody got a feast brewing for Cinco de Mayo today? Normally I would, but I've been so distracted I never turned the calendar & didn't know it was here. I asked DD1 to bring home some tamales from the farmers market today (that's better than nothing I guess.) I live about an hour from the Mexican boarder & Cinco de Mayo on a Saturday night means people will be partying hard with music blaring late into the night.

I am fine.. 101% kickin'butt. Just krazy busy. My byc time is limited. We have been receiving 8 barrels of barley grain everyday.. omg.. overload.. selling on craigslist. I have 4 incubators jamming out right, one is hatching. Our barn is full of chicks. Having potential buyers here everyday kicking tires. Selling breakfast eggs to small time distributors. I have roosters listed and being rehomed. Garden chores now. Breeding piggies. Goat herd maintenance.. Finishing my duck pond (trying anyway).
Spring is here.. woot! I still on here but just not glued to the tablet.

No worries.. me fine.. my blood/coffee level is perfect.
As soon as chick season slows down, I'll be able to sit down more.
