For Connie or the son's family?

We are acquiring the 6 acres that butt up against the north side of our property. A portion of that track, will be fenced off up on the west end and my son will be placing a manufactured home there coming up here in the summer or fall. The rest of the land will be used for our expansion. Not sure how we will be using it as of now. It is thick wooded. The goats will be put to work soon is all I know.

Hurricane Irma provided us with a bounty of cooking wood.

You can tell I'm into tents. Grandchildren were over for a sleepover last weekend. In the summer, I will set up in the back yard.

When my children were small, they used to do inside camping whenever they could get a chance. The joys of being a kid,,,

My husband was given a tent by some biker friends right before we met. He’d never slept in a tent before. The day before doing Daytona bike week, he said we couldn’t bring the tent because he didn’t know how to set it up. I said I could do it. He said he didn’t know if the poles were all there.
We borrowed a tent, and it was like yours. We were both miserable. The day we returned home, I got out his tent. I set it up in the dining room in five minutes. 6’ center height, sleeps about four, and has one of those igloo type doors on the side where you can stash clothes.

Oh what fun as kid we always slept outside

I used to sleep in a hammock as a teen. It was always a race to see who could call dibs on sleeping there on a nice night.
I plan on bringing Duckling outside this summer to either sleep in a tent, or let her sleep in my hammock. I would sit in a chair in that case.
