My neighbor gave us a homemade gingerbread that was AMAZING! It made the whole kitchen smell good for days. They said its a traditional Polish recipe. I keep meaning to ask her to translate & give it to me, but then I see a squirrel & forget. :he

I have one that's not bad, but its more like a cake. Neighbors was more like a really moist bread. They are tri-lingual. The recipe might come translated partially in English, Spanish & polish. :lol:
 
Anybody have any new years food traditions? My familys tradition is snack all night for New Years Eve dinner. DH's family says eat some kind of cabbage on New Years Day for financial luck throughout the new year.... This reminds me that I forgot to make the cole slaw. :he
