This morning was the first day back to school. Typical breakfast... Spinach and cheese omelet.... Well bc I spent all morning in high gear, I ate mine in the school drop off line.....down side... My eggs were cold... Upside... The cheese was no longer napalm hot.

We start now and go till the end of may

Here they start the end of the month, and end in May.
It’s very confusing, and makes family vacation hard to plan. NY and NJ are the same, then there’s a sister in PA, more family in OH, NV, WY, IN and TX.

I am Ole Skool,,,, went from Labor Day until Mid June. In Chicago, they still start after Labor Day and go the full duration of days required.
Here in the suburbs the jokers moved up the start time by 2 weeks. Makes a Family vacation associated with Labor day weekend less likely to happen. A weekend only does not fit my definition as a vacation stretch.
