 I wanted pancakes, so I took out the sourdough starter. Then I wanted a burger. I went to make the burger, and realized I have no bread. Okay! I’ll use pancakes as bread. I was almost done making a stack when I remembered seeing buns in the freezer.
Supper finally made, and I’m glad I used pancakes. They are moist, and more flavorful. :thumbsup

Of course the dog is happy too. He got to eat the mini pancake from the last of the batter.

Looks Jummy. :drool
I never ate quinoa. Need to get some and cook it up. Any suggestions as to best prepare it???

We eat a fair bit of quinoa because DH likes it, but I find it really bland & boring (& honestly, the little tails it makes when its cooked kinda creeps me out.) I like it best when its boiled in a broth with lots of extra spices & sautéed vegis. I chop & sautee whatever we have (onions, power greens, zucchini, bell peppers, black beans... ) in a separate pan then when both are cooked, mix them together. I've topped it with balsamic vinegar or with cayenne or cumin or (my favorite) with lemon juice & cilantro. It can be eaten as a side dish or mixed into anything (soup, salad, casseroles) Its pretty high in protein & can be served hot or cold.
