What’s everyone got on plan for Thanksgiving?

Turkey quarter, leg and thigh, I'll make creamed corn and mashed potatoes and gravy to go with it.

I have made a couple of meals...but need to post them.

I made roasted pork chops the other night. They're topped and bottomed with a light sprinkling of pepper and salt.

When done, the chops were paired with a dollop of apple sauce. Accompanying the chops was a baked potato with a dab of margarine and sour cream, and a healthy helping of green peas.

Question , can I use delicious butter in place of that margarine stuff?

= me praying for a dinner invitation.. When I visit my home town of Mt.Vernon coming up shortly, I will follow my nose to your place..

Roasted bacon wrapped asparagus. I don't add any extra oil or salt, just a little pepper. 400* about 15 minutes then under the broiler the last 5 minutes.

This is on my bucket list..

I suggest you try it without the drizzle of oil most recipes call for. IMO it overwhelms the flavor of this dish and I don't like greasy vegetables.

Yes, I'd think the wrapped in bacon would cover the oil needed.
