Tonight was roasted spaghetti squash with pepper chicken (it was a bit too spicy for me, but hubby said it was good).

I find it very interesting and inspiring to see all the different dishes spread out across the United States. Different locations have new an exciting tastes for some who are only experiencing geographically foods/dishes for their particular area.

That's why I tagged Benny.. Center of Israel is really interesting to see, yum wise!

Generation cooking is now a lost art. Your mother was taught by her mother and taught by her mother etc etc. Now that the Modern Woman is out in the workforce and now no longer a homemaker, passing on recipes and teaching your daughters to be Homemakers no longer exists. Pretty soon your grandmother's recipes will be extinct.

Not where I live.

But, yes. Growing up my mother told me with the way I like to eat I better learn to cook, girls didn't learn to cook anymore, your sister doesn't know how to cook. So I did. My sister learned to cook, and does a good job, after she got married and became pregnant. My nieces cook, so we're probably good for at least another generation. lol

YUMMY EXPERIMENT (Photo Wise)
I took pix last night of dinner on my pocket sized Nikon camera instead of my Smart Phone. I wanted to see the differences. Sorry if I'm posting too many pix.

Red Beans & Rice with Kalbasa Sausage/left over ham(lol). Mixed up a box of Corn Bread and added a dap of pure honey.. yummy.. Whipped up a simple salad. A glass of red wine and a h20 chaser..
Ate way to much to function properly motivation wise..
The Green Onions are from my planter out back. The only plant that didn't freeze.. 5 years old now. Cut off the top and they grow back like grass does.
