Hello all. Have been a little too busy with the grandchild's probs and dealing with health issues with livestock from all the rain being dumped on us. I'll try to get back on here a little more often. It's just been chaotic lately.

Good luck, I hope you get it all taken care of.

I was going to go to the lake on Wednesday, but the car had other plans, won't get it back until Monday, hopefully. Well that led to needing to grocery shopping where much to my surprise and delight the local IGA was having their third annual truck load meat sale, I completely missed the first two years of it. Fortunately the deep freeze was on the empty side. It's not so empty now. Been spending some time cutting large hunks of meat into smaller pieces of meat. Bought some whole boneless ribeye, whole beef loin, whole pork loin, pork tenderloin, shrimp, bacon, kielbasa, smoked sausage and probably some other things I'm forgetting about. I had to change the menu plans, made ribeye steaks Wednesday night and strip steaks Thursday night.

Love Mexican food hubby use to cook Mexican dishes yummy but since he got sick that changed, but his sister cooks awesome Mexican dishes too she shares her pics ,tease :)
My husband’s first wife was Mexican. She couldn’t cook, but when her mother visited, she taught him to love the food. He taught me a few things. Simple things we always had ingredients for. It was nice going down to the border, and having the real thing.
