Been sick so food hasn't had much appeal. Feeling a little better today so I'm cooking some chicken but not sure how yet.

Getting close now! September 1 is the last day to be open and then it will take a couple weeks to clean up everything.

I'll have to fill in once in a while (the course is open until Oct. 15th) for the pro shop gals but other than that, I'm free!

Been sick so food hasn't had much appeal. Feeling a little better today so I'm cooking some chicken but not sure how yet.

Sorry you don't feel well.. bummer. Speedy get well!

We/me- are actually getting stuff done! But it has cut back on my BYC time. So much stuff was put off because of the wet weather. We are on day 4 or 5 now of dryness (NO LIGHTNING) , chores have been double stacked. The swine area is drying up except the new lake. I can see pig feet again!!!

BUT the heat is nasty. Usually by August we are acclimated to the heat gradually. With limited sun all summer, there has been zero slow temp climb. It's hard to explain. I went all summer so far without getting a tan. Now suddenly have sunburn. KRAZY year.

Get well soon! Thanks for being here. As soon we are caught up, I'll get back into the forums. We might grill fish to-nite. I'll try to post a pic next to your chicken!

Thanks Connie, so so happy for your good news!

Yea, the heat sucks. It's been bouncing between 105ish and humid with afternoon storms to 115ish and dry. Either way, it's gross out there.
