By the way pies waiting to go in the oven 3 cheated bought crusts as bunches of cookies to make also doing the asian noodle cookie sounds like good BF does not like butterscotch so will give those all away attach photos soon

Penny, I was skimming through some Pinterest stuff and found a haystack recipe that doesn't use butterscotch. Maybe the white chocolate version would work for you?

New today in Washington state we had our first tornado tough down in a town
not close to us but we have like 4 here all over water very small in 30 years now it is like

Pork ribs are the one exception I'll make for a tiny bit of sweetness. Made the rub with brown sugar, garlic and onion pwd, smoked paprika, salt and a little bit of crushed red pepper.

While DH is away the cook is at play...no serious cooking for me today. But I am going to finish making the Maple Walnut Truffles I started yesterday.

Yesterday was the first time I've used maple extract. I swear I can still smell it in the kitchen, hope it isn't overwhelming in the truffles.
