Happy whatever this day is for you.
In an attempt to make it up to Duckling that she was unexpectedly here this morning (I wasn’t told!!! ), I remembered that I’d gotten myself a few things. She got to practice cutting with the quail egg scissors. She will never do this again, because I don’t think my heart can take it!!

For my lunch, I made rolls from pizza dough, and a burger. I took a photo before the burger was added because I was impressed by its beauty.

I decided to add bbq and ranch.

That is the problem. I’m her aunt, and I don’t know when I’ll have her until she’s here. I’ve literally been handed an infant carrier halfway through building coops, putting up runs and wheeling bedding to the compost pile. One day is 16...

Made the ham last night mashed potato and carrots .. hamburgers tonight deviled eggs maybe tator tots .. our Grandchildren are just as loved as the kids where wish mine where not so far away
