That's one of the ways I like chili too, with cheese! (Avocado and sour cream are great too).

You know what would go good with butter pecan ice cream? Blondies!

Definitely not too much cheese. I agree it looks like it though.

The big pot was not going to fit in the refrigerator, so I am currently canning chili.
I made the butter pecan ice cream, but it is not quite firm enough for pictures yet.

Canning is complete, and nothing bad happened... except the smoke alarm going off in the beginning because of something in the burner. The dog wasn’t impressed.
12 jars are sitting on the counter, and three seals made that satisfying pop sound already. The chili looks better now that it’s been pressure cooked, as I suspected it would. I will have to label it carefully so that I know it’s not my real stuff.

Which jars did you use??? pint, or quart

Pint. I’d never be able to use a quart myself. A pint is 1 1/2 - 2 meals itself.
