Recipe? Did you combine them?
Mainly it was a matter of the sugar...cut back on one recipe and upped it on the other. One of the recipes called for 1 cup of sugar and the other called for 1/2 cup. I just used 3/4 cup of sugar and it was perfect. The rest was following the recipe you found with the evaporated milk plus a little nutmeg in addition to the other spices. And I did bake the potatoes the day before.
The pie will probably be the first of the leftovers to go
