We're having a frozen pizza for dinner tonight. I worked and then we went grocery shopping because Igor works tomorrow. Shrimp Etouffee tomorrow night when I have more time.

PS we're going to finally try the sweet potato pie tonight.

I will start dinner here in about an hour but did feed dogs

I filled a quart jar with what I considered “gross stuff” from the turkey breast. The dog won’t mind. I also loosely packed three pints with breast, and filled all plus another quart with broth. I’m doing the canning tomorrow.

It was pretty good. I made it before you posted your changes.

I agree a bit more sugar, but I did increase the ginger and cinnamon based on what you'd mentioned about lack of flavor after your test run. I'm happy I did because it was just about perfect.

Sounds like a good pie!

Just a word of warning...it seems if you make pie two times in a row for dessert, you create pie monsters. Last night I caught DH trying to hide the last 2 pieces of the sweet potato pie and he's still talking about the apple pie I made a couple weeks ago. What have I done?

I FINALLY got my blueberry pie back. DH got none at Thanksgiving because my dad wouldn't share. I stole the half that was left and ran out the door yesterday
