I know this thread is about showing yum, not just talking about it. Well, I’ve been away from BYC a few weeks, and the pictures are now gone.
During a recent visit, the dd of a friend asked for chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans for dinner (again). Sometime during the day she also asked if I knew how to make biscuits. Her mother and I had planned soup for supper. Suddenly, I had to use my brain to remember how to time everything, and bake both chicken and biscuits at 450°. It all turned out perfectly, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much my company ate. Thank God I made extra chicken!
A few days later, I called to talk to my friend’s daughter. I simply had to thank her again for the great meal. We ate well, laughed a lot, and it felt so good.

Salad should be mostly croutons & cheese with just a little green tossed in for color. Seriously, there’s some beans & seeds in there somewhere.
