Sorry Walt... I will delete it. I am still in the frame of mind of Teaching about the SS... Please PM me on a way that I can use some of this information so that we can show others in a visual form of what the words mean. . .

Really Nice craftsmanship here Don. I must say, I am duly impressed!

What is the theory here - - - A dark place keeps the bird calm during travel?

It looks like feed, water, and pick up the bird from above?

What is the process... Start putting the birds in the cage a couple of weeks before you want to go to the show? Start with a hour a day and increase the time or start with putting them in it at night and letting them out in the morning?

How do you clean it out after the bird has soiled in it?

Is this a two bird holder or one bird only?
Lisa, This is just a carry box to use going to the show. The conditioning box would be one of the other cages where I have a continous wall lined up.

I sent you a PM. Teaching is good, but posting copyrighted info is not.

Walt, I believe in this instance the APA is very wrong. This should help sale more SOP than most any other platform. How are we to teach others what to look for if we can not use the SOP information. This is just another reason why I have not been a continous member of the APA. I was in the belief that we all had the same goal teaching others about the Show Poultry world.

You can post the same descriptions in your own words, but it is against the law to copy copyrighted material from any source......particularly if you copy it word for word. It is a BYC rule as well. The APA is not against education....just put it in your own words. That is pretty simple IMO...I do it all the time. It is the amount of material word for word posted on a site with 200k subscribers that will get someone in trouble.

OK Speckled Sussex Folks... I think the corrections have been made and we can move on.

Don, Could you take a look at Clucksworth's photos and give some feedback. Am I on base with my critique or did I go astray? Did I miss anything?

Cluckworth's HOW MUCH DOES YOUR BIRD WEIGH ? ?
