Idk if this true but I heard if a showgirl is a roo there neck become reddish in color?

I would wait until 4 and half to 5 to be sure! Mine that's 8 or 9 I just now figured out is a hen

I'm gonna guess pullet, but a picture of the comb would help. Even if they appear to be so, though, Silkies are difficult and they'll fool you every time.

In the brooder it should be around 90 and 95 degrees for heat lamp it all depend if u have them inside or outside ... for me I live in Arizona it pretty hot here. I just used a regular house light bulb and the brooder inside and the chicks do just fine .. but heat lamp red bulb just be carful of how far u have it bc it can get really hot and hurt the chicks .. it best to have a thermometer in the brooder to tell what temp it is .
