In the event that some of your birds get sick(and die or culled). Are the sick birds now unfit for human consumption? If so how do you dispose of their carcasses?

Bury or bag it for garbage day.No way would it be good for human or pet to eat though I have heard sick animals do get added to commercial pet food.

Thanks for the reply. :) I guess my question might have seemed like a stupid one, but eating sick birds is something that I have never heard addressed before.

However, if you should indeed never eat an animal that is diseased, then the question remains, when slaughtering any bird, how do you ever really know that it was truly healthy? After all, couldn't it have been carrying something that went unnoticed? How much does the cooking process really kill?
