Sick chicken - advice please!

I am glad to hear that she is doing much better. Many of my birds have mild bumblefoot. I usually do not do the surgery unless they are limping, or have a red swollen abscess. Here are a couple of links with videos of the surgery and what to use:

Great! Thanks so much for the links! She is limping and the sore foot isn't red but is swollen - can't see a scab. I think that's how she became so unwell as she had stopped walking and therefore was unable to reach the food and water and went downhill from there. I'm going to get on with the foot treatment now she seems more stable. Thanks again!

She seems very happy to have been rescued and receiving your TLC
Thank you! I'm really hoping that she's on the mend! She's a very sweet girl! (even though she does grumble when it comes to medicine time!!)

Yay! This is excellent news. Weight gain is good sign. I'm sure she will be more active and alert now too!
Thank you! I must say that I was very relieved when I weighed her! She's certainly much more active as even though she doesn't like to put weight on her bad foot, she's hopping around on her good one - when she arrived she couldn't even get up so I'm happy to see the movement!!
