Has anyone seen this before? We have a call into the Vet, but thought I’d also check here. Thanks in advance!

Can your bird eat/drink?
Can you see the tongue?

Is it possible your bird ate/got stung by a a bee? It could be canker or a tumor, but your photos remind me of these 2 threads as well - I don't think it was ever determined exactly what the cause was, but a sting, bite or some sort of allergic reaction was suspected.

Hopefully your vet can give you more information - please keep us posted.

After Wyorp Rock's suggestion of a profoundly swollen tongue, I would think that could be a real possibility. Does itseem to be part of the tongue? I would try some benadril, maybe 1/2 of a 25mg tablet crushed and given orally once if possible, to see if it goes down. If a vet is possible, I would take her in. Oh yes, and welcome to BYC.
