Sick chicken

Alright need some help! Chicken presents with
•ruffled feathers
•dirty vent area
•seems to have food in croup/not hard
•acts like she has something stuck in her throat

HELP! Not sure what to do. They haven’t been wormed This year, so some recommendations for working is much appreciated as well.

Have you checked her crop in the morning before she eats to see if it's emptying over night?

What color is her poop? How about a pic?

Where do you live?

Is she laying? Any soft eggs recently?

Is there a drippy discharge from the vent?

Is she making wheezing sounds? Have you opened her beak and looked into her throat?

It's obvious from her demeanor she's sick, but you need to provide us with more information for us to help.

I live in Frankfort, KY, so the weather is starting to get a little colder. She hasn’t laid any eggs as of yet, she was purchased in April 2020. I’ve been out in the coop with her for about 10 mins and haven’t seen her poop at all.. vent has no discharge but she does has some white poop stuck to her butt. I don’t see any discharge from her vent. She’s also doing a weird kicking motion as she walks. what am I looking for in her throat?

No wheezing as well, just seems like she’s “choking”, but breathing just fine

Just pooped and it’s liquid white doesn’t seem normal at all

Do you have any antibiotics on hand? Leftover people prescriptions will work.

Have you checked her feet for wounds or mud or poop to explain the kicking action?

Look into her throat for any foreign matter, plaque deposits, mucous.
