My 10 month old hen has become suddenly ill. For the last two days her comb/wattles have been pale and she is consistently panting. Even on her roost at night she is panting. She is low energy and not eating much but has been pecking around free ranging a bit. Her feathers look dull. She is often alone standing under our shed or in the corner of their run. She laid a normal egg yesterday. She has had watery stool on and off since maybe February but no blood and no foamy stools. Abdomen felt normal last evening and crop felt full but not abnormal. Did feel a little thinner than usual but nothing too noticeable. No other chickens are ill. Because of the watery stools I’m treating with Corid but I’m not convinced. I haven’t noted any mites/lice. Any suggestions are welcome.

I'm sorry to hear about your pullet.
Can you post some photos of her poop?
What do you feed?

Check her crop to make sure it's empty in the morning. I would also inspect her really well for lice/mites again.
With a Coccidiosis overload the poop is not always bloody, it can be loose/mucousy. With worms it may not always be foamy so getting a fecal float is a good idea. I would take a look to see if she has a discharge from the vent as well.

Today when I checked in on her she was the same so I brought her inside in a crate. She now has what looks like vent Gleet. Watery stool is all she has passed since inside. Mostly water. I think bent Gleet has been the problem all along because she has the messy butt and foul odor now. Could that be causing the pale comb and wattles along with low energy? She eats an unmedicated later feed. Treats when they get them is fruits or veggies. Occasionally some scratch if I need to get them in the coop/run before they are ready.

I would wash her up and get a good look at what's going on. Yes, if the Vent Gleet is severe it could be the cause of her symptoms. I would still check/monitor the crop too since often times crop issues can accompany Vent Gleet. If you have a rooster, it wouldn't hurt to treat him or at least check his vent as well.
