Sick SLW- 7 months old- nothing is helping

Ok ladies and gents, I am not sure what is going on with Velma, now. She is back to not eating, but drinking some on her own, and I am still tube feeding her. And, she has started scratching her head excessively to where she is making open wounds on her head. She has also gone back to the lethargic state; sleepy a lot. I had my Uncle-in-law who is a human doctor take a look down her ears yesterday and he didn't see anything a miss. No mites and no infection. He said if there was infection in the ear he would be able to tell even though he is not an animal doctor (mind you he is an expert witness for the fbi- he's an excellent doctor and I trust his word). I'm not sure what to make of this and frankly I am discouraged because she seemed to start showing signs of improvement and now she has lost everything she gained and then some. Just in the last 2 days she has lost so much weigh. She is now at 1342 kg. I still have not found a vet that would be willing to check her out and I don't think I am going to either. So I think at this point any idea is worth a shot! Any ideas? It's either that or culling; which I really do not want to do, but I do not want to see her waste away and put her through any more pain and agony. So, let the idea's come forth!

Could this now be a neurological issue? With the head twitching and excessive scratching... idk?

If she can toloerate it, increase the amounts you're tubing. My 2kg RIR hen can tolerate 120-180ml twice a day, my 380 gram chick gets 30ml twice a day.

The past few hours have been rough for Velma. I went to go feed her at 7:15 this evening and she had full blown seizures on me; one right after another. Flopping around and it scared the crap out of me! So, I did not tube feed her and just watched her until she died at 7:45 tonight. My oh my how today has sucked! My 4 year old son was with me when she passed away. He loved helping me take care of her; refreshing her water and food and he even would help with the tube feedings and getting the scale ready to weigh her. He told me Velma went to keep the doggies busy in doggy heaven (lol). He is such a sweet boy; I couldn't console him. May my sweet Velma rest peacefully now.

To everyone who supported me through out all of this I really appreciate all your help and a huge thank you goes out to each and every one of you. All your advise was much needed and welcomed and I simply cannot thank you enough! Without your help I wouldn't have learned as much as I did with this experience. If illness ever strikes my girls again I will be ready and able to deal with it. Thank you everyone!

I'm so sorry that you lost Velma. We have all wanted her to survive so bad, but I'm glad she is at peace now. Please come back on when you have had time to heal and share your expertise with other people who need help. You have been so conscientious with Velma, and trying to do anything to heal her. Take care.

I am so sorry you lost Velma. :( I know it was a hard experience, you did a great job. Hugs.

Can you send her for a Necropsy? Kathy or someone on here may be able to help you with details about how to go about getting one done. I am in Canada and I don't know how you go about it. So sorry again about her death. :(

So sorry for your loss. If you want to send her off for a necropsy let me know and I can get you info on how to do that, but I also understand that many people, myself included, would rather pick a nice spot in the garden and bury or beloved pets.

Wow what can we say here as we watched and learned so much from your family's experience with Velma
as you all tried so hard heart and soul to make her right again and nothing we here can put down nothing
to make up for the loss your family has sustained but I do believe those of us who read about her and your
plight have all learned something from this and her short life gave something in that ........
Are you going to have her checked out or put her some place close by ???????????
