Signs of Spring.

I was just thinking the same thing today as we just cleared another 2" of snow this morning and it has been snowing all day. with a couple of feet still on the ground, not much melting going on here! and it's only in the low 30s. brrrrr:barnie

I found a little something in my yard!

For all of you who are still having single digit and even negative digit temps, I am sooooo sorry. Having lived in deep South all my life, it didn't really occur to me that some of you were still snowed in - something I've never experienced. Again, so sorry - this must be like rubbing salt in a wound - or then maybe it just gives you hope that Spring is headed your way. I barely made it through my first two months of winter in my new/old home and our winter was nothing like yours.

We have Daffs blooming here as well. The way I know Spring has arrived is sneezing! I havent stopped yet. Im allergic to Almond and Walnut blossoms and my grandma's house is literally surrounded by Walnut and Almond orchards.

Oh shut up, everyone in warm climates! I'm so jealous! I'm watching another blizzard, it was eight below when I got up and we're going to have another foot of snow by morning. :thun Spring won't show up in these parts for another two months. so

Some one down south was mentioning that the vultures were migrating, so I take that as a good sign that spring may eventually arrive....someday. They nest in my pine trees.
