Signs of Spring.

It's been raining here since early AM. The Weather Center here is calling for some very violent extreme weather later this afternoon. I'm worried about my chicks in the brooder, what if the power goes out and they get to cold... I will be at work till 11 PM and no way to help them..... worry worry worry.

Found this Iris blooming amongst the Daffodils while we were feeding the critters yesterday (in 60 degree weather)...

We had daffodils and hyacinths blooming beautifully last weekend. The snow on Monday night got them and the downpour of rain yesterday and snow last night just added a bit of insult to the injury. But, today the sun is shining and the snow is melted. It's in the mid 40's and the long-range forecast calls for a warming trend into the upper 60's and low 70's. Don't forget Daylight Savings Time starts Sunday. That's a Sign of Spring, huh?

Beautiful pics. The bushes and trees are starting to get buds. Its been raining on and off for 2 weeks. Hope that sun comes put soon with the temp in the mid 60's
