i was half asleep when I typed the last message, but the postman (postmail) got the package today to take to my partner that i ooops and forgot about so you should get it soon!!!

) I apologize, I finished my shopping on Thursday and was supposed to have of saturday but ended up working a 17.5 hour shift both sat and sun, and then crashed last night when I got home at 1 and had an 8am dentist appt for DS and I. Til I got done taking him to school etc it was almost noon and mail had already gone out for the day. I am planning on sending you gift tmrw...IU'm just having box problems LOL. I have about 4 different boxes that I got so I could send it all in one boc, but I have 1 item that isn't fitting in well with the rest so if I can't figure something out tonight you just may get two packages! LOL And I am hoping your gifts are very tailored to YOU :-D So you should still get it by pattys day, but I apologize again for not getting it out today. Enjoy when you do get it!!!
P.s. I wish I had known your shirt size! ha ha DS got me a shirt for my bday that was green with shamrocks and elmo on and said "tickle for luck" ha ha too cute!

you have Emus? I was thinking about hatching an emu, but what do you feed them? And are they fairly easy to hatch?
I do have emus and the are SO easy to keep! I haven't tried hatching eggs as I always let my male, Enoch, sit on his nest. I feed a commercial ratite feed made by Associated Feed out of Turlock. Enoch is sitting on his nest now, though I don't have much hope for chicks. Too much snow this year and he decided he didn't want to nest in either of his shelters. They're fun birds, especially if hand raised from hatching.
