I do have emus and the are SO easy to keep! I haven't tried hatching eggs as I always let my male, Enoch, sit on his nest. I feed a commercial ratite feed made by Associated Feed out of Turlock. Enoch is sitting on his nest now, though I don't have much hope for chicks. Too much snow this year and he decided he didn't want to nest in either of his shelters. They're fun birds, especially if hand raised from hatching.

Oooh, I may have to try it, if I can get over paying $25 for 1 egg!

Oh brother .. I'm a loser.... and the first to not mail by deadline. My package will go out tomorrow.

I had it packed .. not taped .. and ready to go. Left it in my car this morning and was going to go at lunch to mail it. It was supposed to be overcast and drizzly today ...

Imagine my horror when I walked outside and it's 80 degrees and sunny. It was 100 degrees in my car .. and my dear partner .. your chocolate was melted. I've brought the package home .. cleaned it up .. and will mail it tomorrow.

So sorry .. no chocolate.

I got my swap package yesterday while at work. Thank you so much! I got a beautifully embroidered bunny in a leprecaun's hat. Adorable! It's gracing the front desk and the clients are loving it! I also received the yummiest M&Ms ever, mint white chocolate with dark coating. *drool* A green cloth shopping bag from Stop & Shop, which made me miss New England so much!

I love it, and everything else, so much. Thank you for such a thoughtful (and YUMMY!) swap package!

I also received my fast shipper bonus gift. A delish and already gone, 3 Musketeers Mint- droolworthy! An adorable flowery notebook and pen set, and the cutest little coins that say Get Lucky! on them. (saving those to use on DH!
