Silence Is Not Golden Here

Yes.
I'm not going to save a problem animal. Sorry, but not happening. It will just keep being a problem.
Oh, I agree.. I just don’t believe that a predator killing an easy/unprotected meal makes them a problem animal.

After all, you shoot that one and another potentially smarter one will just take its place.

I don’t like baboons either lol.

Egg Man texted me today and told me that he set a leg trap for his Raccoon friend. He walked off with it and emBb's only remark was "At least he has a cool new bracelet :)" :lau

Exactly. Provide a free buffet - a bird feeder - and things will show up to eat from it. Lock it up securely so they can't get at the food, and they learn not to bother.

A predator being a predator doesn't make it a problem, it just makes it a predator.

I'm also not saving Baboons. I really dislike them.

I was a vet tech years ago for a vet that refused to work on monkeys or any primate for that matter bc of the increased risk of zoonotic disease transmission. I was completely on board with his ruling. Now if I had worked for an exotic animal vet I'd have taken the good with the bad, but that wasn't his area of practice so it was a perfectly fine by me.

Ah, yes. The eager anticipation of a new parent waiting for their child to speak intelligently for the first time. The joy. Followed shortly by the rare moments when silence reigns supreme. To be cherished. Enjoyed. Reveled in.

Congratulations Rae! 30 years to go!
