Hatching chicks is wonderful. I hatched for the first (and so far only) time last year, and it was really neat. You have just a normal egg, and then three weeks later, presto, chickies! I hatched with a broody, and she was a great first-time mom. You'll love hatching, and it's addictive.

I can't wait! The thought of a simple egg turning into a cute little chick that grows in a beautiful hen....or rooster......it's a true miracle!!

Good idea. Like if we name her snowball then she turns out a black silkie then that would be weird!
