I met a friend showing at the show in GA and bought a beautiful paint pullet and a black split to self blue hen. Now...gotta find a nice true black roo for the black breeding pen and I should be set to go for the spring!
Can someone post a pic of a foot booty for silkies?? I want to boot those I plan on continuing showing this year and can't find a pattern. With a pic I should be able to figure it out...thanks!
oh cool! But I wouldn't use neoprene, it isn't breathable and they can overheat very fast. Same with neoprene dog booties, you can't leave them on for a period of time, only for short distances or they will overheat. Maybe I could make some with a more breathable fabric and grips on the bottom

Chick 1 looks like a really pale gray on my monitor... or maybe a splash.Chick #2 could be lav. Check wing feathers for any variation of color. If they aren't all exactly the same color, it may be splash. I have had splash that I thought were white for the first several weeks. The first one looks light blue or dark splash.
Yeah he does look dark blue to me. Unless the lighter underfluff is just a reflection from the sun.
