Silkie eggs

How often do silkies lay eggs? My silkie already lay one egg three weeks ago .

I think it depends on the strain. One of my girls layed every other day and the other layed 6 eggs a week. Then girl one went broody followed by girl two a week and a half later. So I got about a month of eggs out of them.

My Silkie girl laid about 5 eggs a week for 4 or 5 months, then went broody in the fall. She started up again with laying eggs the following February.

My silkie was laying me 1 egg every other day faithfully then went broody, hatched her chicks, started laying again 4 weeks later, now bam, she is broody again. Which is fine for me now I don't have turn incubator on for splash eggs coming in.
