Silkie has baby chick

I am new to this forum and my Silkie had a baby hatch yesterday now what should I do! Any suggestions would help me greatly thanks

First and foremost...! I hope that you enjoy this site as much as the rest of us do! I have learned SOOO much from this site, and hope that you do too! Secondly, I would get your little chickie some chick starter/grower, and let the mama take care of the rest!! Post some ics, I am sure we'd all love to see them!

We are heartbroken the baby chick died overnight...I don't know how it happened

My silkie hen just hatched 4 and I gave them chick starter and let mom handle the rest. They are 2 weeks old and happy and healthy
Mom keeps everybody in check when it comes to her babies. Here are two of hers they other two are brown speckled.
