Thank you. We almost lost the white one today. She was cold, & barely alive. She's back with momma. Almost lost the chocolate colored one, but that one was easy to find, she was peeping, & running around like a wild child.

The hen raising the chicks is a first time momma, stuff like that is expected to happen. I wish I had more silkie chicks, but I don't right now.

There's an animal swap happening on the 17th, so I can finally get rid of my excess roosters.

That's true, first time hatchers can get a few things wrong at the beginning!

How to swaps work? We don't have them over here. I'm guessing you take your birds and well...swap them for others?

I've had people wanting my Silkie chicks already so I've had to decide today which two I want to keep out of 17

Hard decision but I have chosen these two babies!

I'm just anxious to see what their crests turn out like.
