Silkie Lovers, Show Off Your Fuzzy Chickens Here?!

Pics
It's funny how father, & son looks so much alike.
That's good, I bet the people who bought the chicks will really love them.

I know, usually there is some difference but he really does look the same. You'll be the only one that knows the difference!

Ah yes they seem like they will. They already breed the miniature (super small ones) and are wanting to start breeding white Bantams so hence why they are wanting some. As they've grown I think I've made the right decision on the two white ones I decided to keep. They're looking the best out of them all so far.

The most poofy one of the chicks I decided to keep has had a crest growth spurt! :th

I went on to check them one morning and saw this and was just like...:yesss:

This one has its fathers eyes (a button shape and super dark) so fingers crossed it's female.

This is SnuggleBug as an adult, I posted him before, but this is him perfecting his pose. Each picture is about 3-4mins apart.

Image two. It's funny how he did the same pose twice.

Nice to hear the chicks you kept are turning out nicely.

Cute.
Poof looked just like that as a little peep when she was just starting to fluff up.

He's standing in the same place too, he knows how to show off! That's obviously his best size he thinks.

The chick stage is such a tense stage of Silkies. Out of the two I will only eventually keep one but I will decide that once they are fully grown.

He does enjoy getting his picture taken most of the time.

I know it can be hard to tell how fluffy a silkie chick is gonna be when they're just begining to fluff out, & it's kind of fun to imagine, how they're going to look, or guess at it.

I love silkies. Everyones silkie's are so cute! Here are pictures of my 3. The showgirl silkie is a hen just over a year old. This year we added 2 more. The blue and paint are about 17weeks old.

Bad news, nobody wanted our roosters, but did come home with two Guineafowl, & two Partridge Old English Game pullets.
