Silkie roo acting like a hen

I have a silkie roo (11 months old) living with 6 hens (silkie and Serama) and one Serama roo. (I DNA tested them when they were younger so I know he’s a roo.) He has never crowed, he spends hours every day sitting on the eggs, and I saw him squatting and being mounted by the Serama roo today too. I’m not quite sure what to make of his behavior..thoughts?

Im pretty sure its a hen,
1.My silkie roo started crowing at 3 months, and yours has never crowed
2.i cant see any rooster feathers
3. Its sitting on eggs
4. its been mounted by a rooster

Can DNA tests be wrong? I haven't heard of a rooster going broody ^^"

If you can post some more pics of 'him' we might be able to help diagnose the problem (e.g. if it's a pullet perhaps) close up of comb / front on head and side views would be great.
..Also, often a second rooster may not crow if another more dominant rooster is around. ..And Silkies can take up to a year or so to start laying.

I think it is only wrong if the sample gets contaminated some where along the line.

Interesting.. nothing says roo to you? The dna blood test must have been wrong!

I see nothing that looks roo to me! I see a smaller comb, small wattles, no rooster feathering (no sharp or pointy hackles or saddles) The crest looks hen shaped, PLUS all of the behavior! I think you've got a sneaky hen ;D
