Thanks for the quick replies! I thought that he was a cockerel from about three weeks when his purple comb exploded out over night. I am keeping my fingers crossed that he is.

It's either Patty or Sir Patrick Thrillington the Third.
I have no other roosters and yet no crow or real cockerel behavior. He/she is with 6 other 12 week old girls and also 15 month old hens. He/she seems to do the typical pecking order fighting but is really moving among the older girls where the other chicks stay away much more.
Any input is welcome.
