I posted this one a couple weeks ago and thought I would put up another picture and get some more opinions. 17 weeks old, no crowing or eggs yet. I do have other roosters so it's possible that if it is male it might not crow.

I think I see streamers which would indicate cockerel but a closer profile picture and comb shot would be helpful in determining sex.

I was wondering if anyone could guess the sec of my silkies. I have 4 but only pictures 2 of them.

These guys are still very young to accurately sex but going by stance alone I would guess you have a pair with your splash being a pullet. I would wait about a month and post updated pictures.

Is this a male or female?

Silkie is about 2 months old at this point and tends to go head first into watermelon (hence the dirty feathers).

Here are my two silkies at just 3 days shy of 11 weeks. So far no one has offered a guess as to the sex of these two. What do you guys think? Still too early?

And the second one:

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Please ignore my past guess. I can't tell with these pictures. Close ups of combs would help. Sorry

Anyone willing to venture a guess if this is a roo or a pullet

That looks like a pullet. She has some feathers out on her back. Is that from a hawk or from a rooster overmating. If it is from a rooster then you may want to get a hen saddle to protect your silkie from getting injured. Also, are you sure your silkie is only 6 weeks it looks more like 6 months?
