Hi all My silkies are 6 weeks old and I was hoping I could get your opinions on their genders!

This one we think is a roo? Because he's noticeably bigger than the other 2 and has grown his comb already! He and #2 sometimes flap their wings and run towards each other whereas #3 is very docile and hardly ever does that with her wings

I was really hoping she/he is a girl- this one is my favourite so please be a girl!!!!

I got worried when I saw how the feathers were coming on on the pouf, its sort of slicked back? But she/he is the same size as #3 and no comb etc... so theres hope??

The most skittish so it was hard to take photos!

They're still pretty young, but going by what I can see of their combs, #1 and #3 look pretty boyish to me. #1 for sure.

#1 is a boy......#2 &3 look like girls...(but watch their combs for development) wide comb space = boy narrow comb space = girl however there is always the exception, and that is why Silkies are hard to sex.
