I have a hen that is a bit nicer than your mom, but definitely not the greatest, and she throws my best babies.

On the inside of the fence.

These are her only 2 babies that are old enough to see the difference of quality between mother and kids.

thats why I cant figure out why her babies crest are so big they almost looks bearded to me lol but mother is a non bearded

Holy Moley! That is a beautiful and very mature looking Silkie for being only 2 months old!!!! Wow!

You've gotten yourself some really beautiful babies!! I believe cuckoos male and female have red combs. Check for red on that blue one.

So then a question to the breeders out there in Silkie land... is a red comb and wattles acceptable in cuckoo males and females????? Thanks!!!

PLEASE keep us updated on how your Catdance eggs do under your hen. I am hoping to try this in the future and I am sooooo excited for you!!! This Silkie thread is the first thing I check when I get home from work each day. (After of course I have spent time with my babies!!!!) I love seeing everyone's pictures, it is so helpful. Hello I decided to find a silkie thread and there you are! Need some help on a color question. I have silkies and showgirls and I've got something popping out of my flock that is (i'm guessing) either porcelin or lavendar...not sure which but definately not white! Here's some pictures!
