Silkie thread!

Well my chick made it.But I had to assist more.she was still stuck in the egg this morning with a wing partially showing and dried so gently broke pieces off and she kicked right out in my hand. It lookd like she was zipping wrong. Part of the shell and membrane was dried to her eye, so I rewet it and it slid off. She's finishing drying next to her twinsie under her mama now. Thanks for the help everyone!

great news!!!

Thank you you're guide really helped a lot although I didn't have these eggs in an incubator, it was easy to follow and assist where needed. So thankful right now!! <3 It's her first time and mine. I picked up some vitamins for the one that had trouble, and the other is starting to explore now. <3 thanks again!!

of course, thats what the articles are there for! hope they get good and healthy for you! hugs and blessings!

 :love beautiful coloring! Is it blue?
I'm really not sure. The mother is more grey. Her name is Grey. Lol but the father was a buff Silkie. He had to be rehomed:( (I bought 5 Silkie chicks and 4 ended up being roosters, Grey was the only girl). I don't know about Silkie traits or genetics but this chick has spots of yellow so maybe partridge? That would be amazing!
