Well my chick made it.But I had to assist more.she was still stuck in the egg this morning with a wing partially showing and dried so gently broke pieces off and she kicked right out in my hand. It lookd like she was zipping wrong. Part of the shell and membrane was dried to her eye, so I rewet it and it slid off. She's finishing drying next to her twinsie under her mama now. Thanks for the help everyone!

(I bought 5 Silkie chicks and 4 ended up being roosters, Grey was the only girl). I don't know about Silkie traits or genetics but this chick has spots of yellow so maybe partridge? That would be amazing!
