So this little one and a couple others had spots from day 1. Now I'm noticing that some of the solid ones are starting to get spots...do all blondish baby silkies become white when they grow up?

Paints can develop spots as they grow. So that's probably what those are. Whites to me look pretty white as babies, not yellow.

They're almost like... I don't really know how to describe it... maybe kind of platinum/silvery blonde?... And some are more yellow or have some yellowish spots.

Pure white ! I'll post an updated pic of them. They are almost 5 weeks old.
I once had a pretty grey chick , got so excited but it grew out to white.

These pics show that whites can be quite ' smutty ' when they first hatch.

Wow, at how many weeks/months do they get to the pure white stage?... Or whatever color they're going to be...
