So if I have a white Silkie hen what color rooster would I need to try for the kind of speckled looking grey color?like the one posted by "green beetle"

Here is a thread regarding crossing white silkies with black ones.

As for me... I had white silkie roo and grey partridge hen. I got 2 brown partridges and a whole load of grey/brown partridges and some white thrown in. 75% grey partridge, and 25 mixed white/brown partridge.

Never know what you will get with white silkies for coloring.

I have a silkie pullet that is half as big as the rest of the silkies

. They are all the same age. Is there anything that I should do to help her grow larger. They are 23 weeks old.

Maybe she is on the bottom of the peking order and is getting blocked from the food bowl? Maybe feed her extra protein, like real meat, by herself. Mine love canned salmon, ground beef. She is very small and cute. I wonder if she has a Dwarf Gene.

No they are all 4 new to us we got them today. The smaller one is younger.
