Yes it certainly looks like yours. I had just assumed that they were from a silkie hen.

I'm thinking it's more of a trauma. I printed off the info to give to my vet. I'm sure he can use the education. Usually when I bring a chicken they give me a break on the office visit and just charge me for any meds they give me.

A little update on how she's doing. I got her out to feed and water her and she really protested the tube. It was a real fight, and a sight too. So I put the food bowl in front of her and tilted it so she could get her head in and she ate like crazy. I made her take water by using the tube and after that I put the water glass to her beak and she drank. Thats something she has been refusing to do is to drink water on her own. So I sat with her on my lap for 3 hours alternating food bowl and water glass and she fed herself. She is still "wonky" but I helped her sit upright so she could eat. When she was done she wiped her beak on the towel she was sitting on. Attempted to preen a little then off to snooze-land. She's in bed for the night now.
I'm glad she finally ate and drank in her own, hope she keeps improvingA little update on how she's doing. I got her out to feed and water her and she really protested the tube. haven't heard that before, I'm sure someone else can, I always look for more wing feathers, started tail feathers (depending on age) smallest chicks, and thinnest legs when picking out pullets. So I'm going to buy some chicks but I would to get some hens. Somewhere on this thread people where talking about the shape of the beak and comb. Can you guys help me with this?
Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
